How do we do this?

We help you put systems and processes in place that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure that your best work is delivered every time.

Our Journey

We have been automating documents since 1996. Over the years we have found the difference between what has made a firm successful and what has made a firm not get to their goals. Those firms that succeed have processes and systems to help them do their work.

The software industry has sold everyone on the fact that if you install their technology in your firm you will automatically succeed and get the results.

As we studied and look at those firms that succeeded, we noticed a trend. The trend is those people who are successful in their implementation of software and technology had developed human systems and processes that made their technology investments work for them.

To solve the problems that even our best law firms were facing we knew that we had to go outside of legal environment to look at what was working.  We studied the best minds of multiple industries looking at manufacturing from the Toyota Production System and how service organizations like hospitals and Nationwide Insurance were solving problems.

We looked at what made Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook so successful.  We consumed business books and learned from them.  Kim Mayberry did a Masters in Operational Excellence through The Ohio State University in 2016, the leading program in the country on process improvement, to learn how to really improve law firms.

We took what we learned from all these experts and started to implement them in our own company.  Then we experimented with different ways to implement these best practices that we were learning.  Then we took what we learned from our own company and developed our own model that we could use to train other companies on how to implement and get the same results we were getting.

This model isn’t just a one-size fits all. As we looked at those that succeeded in other industries we found that if you just try to take what works and one company and bring it into your company in the exact same model it never works.

We studied how Toyota has developed their Toyota Production System and then the US companies came along and tried to duplicate it and they weren’t successful.  They made improvements to what they already had, but they still did not get the same results as what Toyota was getting.

The failure happens when companies have tried to duplicate what someone else has done and they didn’t see the results because every culture and environment is different.

The companies that have succeeded instead looked to the best practices of other companies and then taken those best practices and made them their own by incorporating the strengths of their company with the best practices of other companies.

When you work with us we will follow these steps.

Step 1 – Crystalize Your Goal
