REAL Automation Solutions has been helping law firms and companies get the most out of automation since 1998. Liz Mayberry started the company after years of experience as a consultant and trainer for Capsoft Development, creators of HotDocs®.
REAL Automation Solutions has since continued to expand our serives to in include Hotdocs programming and training, website development, mobile app development, and database integration. Our goal is to create an envirnonment where you enter information once and it can be used in all of your systems.
To help meet the needs people who need to better understand HotDocs, REAL has created www.hotdocsresources.com. This web site provides packaged document systems and training.
We have served clients in a variety of practice areas, including: banking, elder law, estate planning, estate administration, probate, guardianship, special needs trusts, intellectual property, etc.
Our technical expertise is widespread: we have done projects in Word, WordPerfect, RTF format, Hot Docs-specific static content formats, full conversions of CAPS-based systems to HotDocs, database integration between HotDocs and SQL databases, .Net, PHP, and HTML 5.
In all cases, REAL Automation Solutions includes our clients throughout the automation process to ensure that expectations are met. And, as importantly, when there are available options, we lay out the pros and cons, and make our recommendations.
Ultimately, of course, the client decides, based on their needs.
In addition to our individual clients, REAL Automation Solutions has been integral to in the development of commercially produced HotDocs document assembly products published and marketed nationwide: “Practical Planning System” formally know as the “Essential Estate Planning Document System (EEPDS),” REAL Probate System for New Jersey, REAL Probate System for Utah, and the “Medicaid Planning System (MPS)” Currently we provide product development and support services for the PPS, and probate systems.. Our experience has given us invaluable insights into what works best in a template-driven Practice System.

Elizabeth Mayberry – Partner / HotDocs Consultant
Liz Mayberry started REAL Automation Solutions in 1998. Previously she was a consultant and trainer for Capsoft Development, creators of HotDocs®.
Kim Mayberry – Partner / HotDocs Business Development
Kim Mayberry received his Bachelors Degree in Information System from Brigham Young University. Following graduation, he worked for Ameritech Library Services before joining REAL Automation Solutions, Inc in 1994 as a partner and has helped develop the business into one the leading HotDocs consulting firms in the country. Additionally, Kim has taught paralegal level courses in Information Technology at Salt Lake Community College. His focus is on improving office processes within professional practices.
Mike Lund – Consultant / Database Integration
Mike Lund received his Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. His primary responsibility with REAL is integrating databases together. His skills include SQL coding, report writting, and Database integration with various programs.
